The Mission of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association, a member driven organization, is to represent and advocate for the profession of physical therapy and promote excellent, ethical, and autonomous practice, which serves the culturally diverse population of Tennessee.
The Vision of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association is by 2010, through increased membership and member involvement, physical therapy will be the health care profession of choice for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of conditions related to movement, function, health and wellness. Practitioners will provide effective and evidence-based physical therapy services to all Tennesseans with reimbursable and unrestricted direct access.
